Typhoon Nepartak Causes 2 deaths and 70 wounds between Phillipines and Taiwan

Manila - Nepartak typhoon struck the island of Taiwan in the morning, which has left at least two dead and 70 wounded , in addition to serious material losses from damage to infrastructure , buildings and farms .
 
Nepartak faded to enter the island and northern Taiwan has already restored this morning public transport and flights at airports, to the relative remoteness of the typhoon , which has followed a route along the southern edge and not the center as it was expected .
 
However , southern and eastern Taiwan , has not been spared the heavy rains and strong winds have destroyed numerous agricultural facilities , dump wagons in the train station in Taitung , wrecked shops and filling the streets of remains of billboards , signs companies , metal and glass .
 
The provinces of Zambales , Bataan , Cavite , Laguna , Batangas , Rizal and areas of Metropolitan Manila, which has already suffered flooding, are in red or yellow alert , orange intensified monsoon rains due to Typhoon Netarpak by waters of the archipelago , although not reached landfall.
 
Numerous streets of Manila were flooded by the rains , prompting the Philippine government to suspend Friday in the Capital Region National activities in government agencies and classes at all levels of public schools.
 
The Ministry of Education reiterates that ( the suspension of classes ) is carried out to ensure student safety in case of typhoons , floods and other weather disasters ," said the Philippine government .

In the province of Zambales , about 70 kilometers northwest of Manila , about 200 people have been evacuated from their homes after several areas accumulate up to 1.2 meters of water , says the daily Inquirer.

The Meteorological Agency expects Philippines monsoon rains intensified by the presence of Typhoon Nepartak in the coming days .

For its part , the Board of Management and Disaster Risk Reduction Philippines monitors the areas affected by heavy rainfall where landslides may occur.

Nepartak is located about 360 kilometers from the islands of Batanes , the northernmost territory of the Philippines.
